The small town of Victor is named after the postman, who in the late 1800s delivered mail between Driggs and Jackson, the two larger towns in the area. He would trek across the mountain ranges no matter the weather. The town officially became incorporated in 1889. When the rail line came down from Driggs, it made getting supplies easier and the winters less harsh.
Jackson is the gateway to Yellowstone and is nestled within the Tetons. In this town you can find a nice mix of classy cowboy joints and some tasty restaurants.
Driggs is the center of family values and nature enthusiasts. The two was founded in 1910 by a group of people who crossed over the Tetons in covered wagons. This is really cowboy land.
